Pneumatic elements 'ER SERIES'

The ER Series elements have the same design as the EB Series, but without friction shoes; they are designed for air clutch applications with stationary shafts or low differential speeds:

• Centrifugal equipment.
• Washing machines.
• Textile machines.
• Tire manufacturing equipment.

They transmit higher torques than the EB Series because the coefficient of friction between the drum and the pneumatic element is much higher.
Their design and construction are similar to the CB Series.

Their simple and robust design provides reliable service for a very long time without maintenance (no lubrication is required).

The magnitude of the torque transmitted depends on the rotation speed and is proportional to the air pressure applied; it could be adjusted from zero to the indicated maximum value for each size.

It can transmit a nominal torque of up to 9440 [Nm] in its simple configuration and with an effective pressure of 5.2 [Bar].

Both the complete couplings and their replacement parts are fully interchangeable with comparable products from Eaton Airflex, Fawick, Falk, Renold, Gummi, etc.
