Pneumatic elements 'CB Series'

Its design, featuring an air-pressurized rubber tube reinforced with multiple layers of fabric, firmly bonded to an external steel rim, allows it to absorb strong torsional variations and vibrations.

CB Series pneumatic elements can be used as either an air clutch or an air brake in general power transmission applications.

Its simple design and robust construction allow a reliable service, even for the most demanding applications such as cyclic operations with high operating frequency, or high torques, without the need for maintenance (no lubrication and shoe wear is self-regulating).

The magnitude of the torque transmitted depends on the air pressure applied and the rotation speed.

It can transmit a nominal torque of up to 29400 [Nm] in its simple configuration and with an effective pressure of 5.2 [Bar].

Both the complete couplings and their replacement parts are fully interchangeable with comparable products from Eaton Airflex, Fawick, Falk, Renold, Gummi, etc.
